This button provides a means to make donations of any amount thru PayPal, if you so desire. I will appreciate any help anyone can offer. May God bless! Welcome to my web site. I am James Kisner, author, publisher, artist, collector, and cynic. I am maintaining this site primarily to promote continued interest in the written word — not only my own, but those of other writers.
My own tastes in literature are quite eclectic (though lately I've been reading a lot of mysteries). I have also recently re-discovered the joys of reading so-called "pulp fiction." Most such fiction receives scant notice from the literati or even the modern reading public — though we all owe a debt of some sort to the writers who slaved over hot typewriters for several decades, grinding out lurid tales that captured and captivated us.
But I digress!
Please check out my ebooks and my fiction. Thank you for visiting my website.
A Note of Clarification: I am James Martin Kisner, not to be confused with the poet James A. Kisner. I am actually James Kisner Junior, and my son, who maintains his own website (see link below) is James Kisner III. We are descended from German Catholics who migrated to central Indiana in the 1850s (as far as we can determine). There is also English blood in our lineage and the possibility of Native Americans in our woodpiles, though this has never been absolutely confirmed. (The Williams side of the family had several members who resembled native Americans.) The vast majority of Kisners now extant have blue eyes and many are blond(e) and some have red hair. Most of the males are barrel-chested and around six feet tall in the last two generations. The females vary greatly; however, my daughter is a statuesque redhead. Almost all Kisners in our particular clan prefer cats to dogs. (See example of cat below.) I know French and Latin well and can cipher out ancient Greek if pressed to do so; my children both of whom are certifiable geniuses, are fluent in Spanish. Thus, we are a polyglot family. We tend to be passionate about issues when pressed. We are a proud race! (Or family, or clan, or whatever division and/or definition you wish to apply.)
